Stones of Power cover by jesterbells
The year: 1801
The place: London

Enter a world of magic and secrets...
Imagine learning that every human has a magical power within that has been sealed away from use and knowledge by a centuries-old enchantment.
Imagine being told that certain magical artifacts can allow people to access their power.
The catch: if enough of these artifacts were brought together, one human could achieve unlimited power.

When a simple street urchin living on the dark streets of 19th century London picks up a stone with an odd sign carved onto its face, she is flung headfirst into a world of magic and secrets. Yet soon danger threatens and she and her new friends must embark upon an adventure on the high seas and a great quest across the globe. The journey will be filled with obstacles. Through betrayals, kidnappings, theft, and storms, with malicious villains lurking just out of sight springs a tale of bravery, friendship, and love. For the fate of the world may well rest in the hands of children who must go above and beyond the call of duty to muster the courage to save a world which never showed them compassion.

Stones of Power is an original fantasy/adventure/historical fiction novel for young adults, now available on Amazon: www.amazon.com/Stones-Power-Mi…

You're welcome! I'm writing a story about someone who fights with a war fan, so your post will be a very useful reference!

Cool! I'm glad to hear it. Another reference that may help you is YouTube. I saw that Jackie Chan is an expert at fighting with war fans, and someone interviewed him about it.

There are other videos on YouTube of experienced warriors using the war fan so you can study how the movements are supposed to look :D

Good luck!
