Gwin the Elfking

Realized that all the pictures I've posted of Gwin are of him in human disguise. So here's him in his true form as the Elfking (though in some ways he feels just as uncomfortable and out of place here as when dressed as human).

Pencil sketch, background and effects in photoshop. Drew this a while ago, only just got around to finishing it up. (I might have been watching Nightmare Before Christmas shortly before sketching this, so if you happen to notice any Burton-esque stylistic elements, that's probably why...)

Gwin is an original character from a Victorian fairytale story I'm working on called No Patience for Laces. He is loosely inspired by Der Erlkonig and the Welsh folklore figure Gwyn App Nudd.
